I always knew that I wanted to be a hairstylist when I grew up. As a kid, the interest began when I would cut and style my dolls’ hair. As a teenager, I loved going to my stylist and watching them transform my hair into colours I had only ever dreamed. Now working as a stylist myself, being able to create something custom and unique for a client in my own chair brings me so much joy and pride.

I have worked in the hair industry as a stylist and educator since 2007 in western Canada, now permanently living in Victoria. I studied hair at Delmar College of Hair Design where I earned my Red Seal journeyman certificate.

Behind the chair, I make every experience a collaboration; no two people get the same cut. I work with each guest to create something personal and unique to you that will highlight your best self. The most rewarding part of my career is witnessing how much a hairstyle can transform someone internally through confidence, rejuvenation and inspiration.

I also love working as an educator in the industry. I worked as a educator for Moroccanoil for 5 years, but my passion for education has always been there. I am always striving to improve, collaborate and learn, which is what education allows me to do. I love teaching and mentoring fellow stylists, and getting to help in their own professional development.

Highlights of my career include styling hair at New York Fashion Week (2016) for designers such as Cushnie et Ochs, Zac Posen and Marchesa, and at trend shows in Canada and the United States.

Hair is my love and hair is my life. My roles as a stylist and educator complement one another, and help to ensure I am giving you the best hair of your life.
